Decide if you want to include your own name in your business name.
It makes a difference in Pennsylvania. You may need to file for a fictitious name. If you do not include your last name in your business name (example: Bowman's Money College) than you must file for a fictitious name and then advertise that name in the legal notices of a a newspaper in the county in which you intend to do business.
