BOWMAN'S MONEY COLLEGE - FINANCIAL EDUCATION WITH STRATEGIES TO SAVE MONEY

Have the same things as the rich

I recently wrote an article about how someone making a modest wage can still enjoy the same things that the rich do. What you have to do is look at the intended result rather than the means of achieving your goal or desire. There are plenty of examples. The point is that instead of getting hung up on how much income you have or don’t have you need to focus on creativity.

Think about all the resources you do have access to rather than the things you don’t have and you will be surprised at how many things you can get done. I’ve written before about living within your means. If you want something and it is not within you means you need to find ways to stretch and increase you means. Sometimes that boils down to getting more done for less.

Here are some examples of accomplishing the same things as the rich do: they send their kids to an Ivy League school; you send your kids to the community college. They all get a college education. They buy cooking utensils, candle sticks, vases, and other miscellaneous household accessories at the mall or specialty shops. You make those same purchases at the dollar store. You both have equipped and decorated homes.
