BOWMAN'S MONEY COLLEGE - FINANCIAL EDUCATION WITH STRATEGIES TO SAVE MONEY

Building Your Greatest Asset: YOU!

Have you ever taken stock of what assets your own? Perhaps you applied for a bank loan and the loan officer asked you to write down all your assets on the loan application. They may have asked about personal property or bank accounts you owned.

But when you think about those possessions as assets have you ever asked where did they come from? They most likely came from your ability to generate income or value. You are the reason you have what you have. You are your most valuable asset, because if it wasn’t for you there would be no personal property, bank accounts, or anything else.

Because you are your most valuable asset you should be investing in yourself and increasing the value of you.

Think of yourself in 4 quarters: physically, mentally, spiritually, and economically.

Physically – Julian Michaels, from the TV show Biggest Loser, once said without a "foundation of health you will never achieve wealth".
Winston Churchill once said, “Healthy citizens are the greatest asset any country can have.”

Mentally – do you continuously upgrade your skills through education and new experiences?
Bruce Jenner said, “I always felt my greatest asset was not my physical ability, it was my mental ability.”
Spiritually – Identify what it is that makes you feel good about yourself. Is it doing things for others, your accomplishments, or adding value at work?
Hosea Ballou said, “No one has a greater asset for his business than a man’s pride for his work.”
Economically – are you more financially dependent or independent of others?
Brian Tracy said “Your greatest asset is your earning ability. Your greatest resource is your time.”
