| BOWMAN'S MONEY COLLEGE - FINANCIAL EDUCATION WITH STRATEGIES TO SAVE MONEY |

How I learned about this “advanced couponing” technique was the Giant Eagle grocery store which had Pillsbury cinnamon rolls on sale. Normally they cost $1.79 each but were on sale “6 for $6.00”. You had to buy 6 in order to get the savings. I also had several 75 cent coupons for Pillsbury that said “75 cents off 2” products. Giant Eagle doubles coupons so that made these coupons worth $1.50! 6 packages of rolls were $6.00. I used three coupons that were doubled that took $4.50 off the sale price. I paid $1.50 for $10.74 worth of rolls. The catalina sweetened the deal. For every 6 packages you bought you also received a coupon for $4.00 off of your next shopping trip. I felt like I made money by purchasing the rolls! So I learned this week to look for the great deal, combined with the doubled coupons, combined with the catalina extra!
